Sickness coverage begins 48 hours from the effective date of the policy.

Coverage

• provides physician and surgeon services
• provides care from registered nurse
• x-rays
• ambulance service
• up to 30 days prescription drugs
• accidental dental up to $3,000 for repair or replacement of whole, sound, natural teeth
• up to $300 for emergency dental
• up to $3,000 for burial (excludes casket)
• up to $1,500 for cremation
• subsistence allowance benefit up to $1,000

Exclusions

• pre-existing conditions
• non-emergency treatment, regular checkups, ongoing care and investigative consultation

NOTES:

• must be purchased within 60 days from date of arrival in Canada
