PRE-EXISTING CONDITION COVERAGE

• for persons age 69 and under, pre-existing conditions are covered if stable in the 120 days prior to the policy effective date
• for persons age 70 to 79, pre-existing conditions are not covered, however coverage for pre-existing conditions can be purchased; there is a 25% surcharge – pre-existing conditions must be stable in the 120 days prior to the policy effective date
• for persons age 80 to 89, pre-existing conditions are not covered
