HOW IS YOUR PREMIUM DETERMINED?

These factors will decide your premium:

  1. Your age when coverage begins.
  2. The number of days you need coverage.
  3. The amount or limit of coverage selected and whether the plan is a basic plan or select plan (select plan has additional coverage's).

A FEW WORDS ON PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS

A pre-existing condition is an illness or injury for which the insured is receiving on-going medical treatment or has received diagnoses or medical consultation or prescription drugs. Visitors to Canada policies normally exclude any pre-existing condition. An exception is the plan from 21st Century which covers pre-existing conditions which are stable during the 180 days prior to the start of coverage. (to age 69)
